End of Year Reflections and Looking Forward

As we approach the end of 2023 and look forward to the New Year, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have participated in this past year’s discussions, joined in-person events and contributed in thoughtful ways to this community. Your support and openness to being a part of this work have been invaluable and have allowed me to learn and grow in many wonderful ways. I look forward to continuing our conversations and growing our community in 2024.

This past year brought with it many opportunities to connect with globally, like-minded individuals who were interested in sharing their experiences and learnings on many different topics which resonated with so many of you. These included themes such as how to embrace equity and build new norms, setting intentional career transitions, how to foster global career opportunities and adding to that, relocating abroad and creating multiple home bases. We also took the time to unpack and discuss multicultural family relationships, as well as had fruitful discussions about how to manage global teams. Our most recent conversation about how to be a DEI change agent through global mindset and culture was one that I’m still reflecting on. Throughout all these moments of connection, everyone was incredibly supportive and generous in sharing their ideas and reflections with one another. For those of you who may have missed a conversation or would like to review one of these topics again, check out all of this year’s past newsletters on my newly revamped website.

Drawing on inspiration from this past year, my goal for 2024 is to continue to identify engaging and important topics that will empower and support you, your colleagues and your organizations to further expand in the face of complex change. I remain steadfast in my mission to help leaders and leadership teams get very clear within so that they may root themselves in their truest essence and rise to greater levels of excellence. It is through clarity and an open heart that we as leaders may lead and operate across borders and cultures, creating lasting impact in our ever-evolving world of multiculturalism. I appreciate your presence, your time and your participation with my work and look forward to continuing further in 2024.

As I close out this last newsletter of the year and plan for our discussions in 2024, I would be very grateful for your feedback. What topics are important to you at this time? What themes would you like to visit together? What conversations are you having that you’d like to explore further? I look forward to hearing more!

Wishing you a Happy New Year filled with abundance, light and the fulfillment of your deepest aspirations.

To Your Success,

Take Action and Put it into Practice

Take a moment to reflect on the following as we say goodbye to 2023 and welcome in 2024.

  • What were some of the challenges you faced in the past year? What valuable lessons can you extract from those experiences?

  • What were some of the themes that resonated most with you over this past year? How can you build upon those lessons in the coming year?

  • What are some of your goals for the upcoming year, both personally and professionally?

  • How does your role at work contribute to your sense of purpose? Are there areas that you’d like to be more in alignment with?
